Negative is a dark theme based off of Curve2 for smf 2.1

moved some things on the display
- the like is on the same line as the quickbuttons, though it's still set to the left (maybe eventually I'll fix that, I tried but when you like a post it gets put back to the left)
- moved the quickbuttons to under the posted message, leaving the signature at the bottom
- moved the attachments to below the signature
- centered the buttons and smiles on the editor
- changed the editor text from black to white when typing
- replaced the attachment icon under the post with the same image in the post so it's not so dark that you can't see it
- renamed jquery.sceditor.negative.css to the correct name jquery.sceditor.theme.css

realized the user menu sub menus were running off the screen
tweaked the css to fix the issue
also added to the css to fix the captcha to have a white background so it's legible

Updated for smf v2.1.1

hehehe the problem is I'm never really happy with themes I make so I don't submit them, but this one's been sitting around since like rc2 and I haven't done much more to it than update it to rc3 and rc4 so figured it's as good as it's gonna get so might as well submit it
lol my issue is to not add a bunch of stuff to it and let the user decide what mods they want to add or not...need to just work on the look/layout not the function :laugh:

moved the guest welcome message to it's own line so it doesn't run into the menu when logged out

removed the rc package, sorry not supporting it as it's outdated now and everyone should be updated to at least v2.1.1 :P
I successfully loaded this to the Example Board and poked around making no changes. When I logged in the next day, it looked like this (see below). I'm certain this is user error but I've no idea where to start to retain your theme. If you need to nudge me toward someone else, I totally understand and appreciate the assist!

clear your cache, clear your browser cache, if you use cloudflare clear it's cache
got a link i can check out? but most likely it's just a chaching issue somewhere
It's up again. I cleared my caches but it didn't fix until I clicked "attempt to repair themes" (or something close to that verbiage). Thanks for your help. Hopefully, this will keep it fixed while I learn!!

um....that would be something on your hosts side
either they restored from an outdated backup or some kind of caching on the server went screwy

Hello! I'd like to tweak the color, font, and (change the) icon in the categories but I'm clueless and terrified of breaking anything. I'm not sure what to look for in which file. Any help is appreciated!

Is there a specific area for all themes? I was guessing each is different. I've tried to research here but I'm struggling to find an answer with confidence as I'm much too new to this.

to change the icons
Themes/Negative/images/boardicons.png
to change the font and color depends on what you are wanting to change. using your browsers inspection tool will help point you into the right direction, as well as allow you to make changes to see how they will look before you actually change the file.
Themes/Negative/css/index.css
.info .subject
changes the board's name (and some other things, anything that uses that class)
and the board's description uses the body color
