I'm using 2.1 RC4, tested on the default Theme as well as others
When adding a board description on multiply lines it always pusts the decription on one line like
This template contains to following: Login System, Employees List (With Password System), Customers and Contacts.
Plus uses the Style Manager Version 1.02.
designed to give you a leg up to a full system of your choice.
I get this
This template contains to following: Login System, Employees List (With Password System), Customers and Contacts. Plus uses the Style Manager Version 1.02.Designed to give you a leg up to a full system of your choice.
Try using <br> after each sentence. Used to work for me in 2.0 not sure about 2.1. ;)
I'm actually a bit unsure as I haven't tried - but that used to allow some html, which in 2.1 was changed and so only accepts BBC now. So, yeah - <br> or <br /> would have worked before, and actually should not work anymore which is a shame. EDIT: You should be able to use [br].
2.0 accepted literally any HTML without sanitisation which was reported as a security vulnerability on a number of occasions especially because non-admins with an admin-grade permission could use it.
2.1 accepts a limited set of bbcode, not the full set normally found in posts.
Yeah, don't get me wrong - I do completely understand why it doesn't accept html just like that anymore.

Thanks didn't work just shows [ br ] where the new line should start.
Ah, that kinda sucks and so I support this being a valid bug report - We really should have a way to introduce linebreaks in there.
Maybe they can just add [ br ] to the allowed bbcode list?
Github Issue 7096 (https://github.com/SimpleMachines/SMF2.1/issues/7096)
Fixed by allowing br in https://github.com/SimpleMachines/SMF2.1/pull/7098
