Can anyone recommend the best mod or method to make my forum mobile friendly?

1) use a theme that is responsive
2) install either one of the Responsive Curve (https://custom.simplemachines.org/index.php?mod=4040) mod or the Hilbert (https://custom.simplemachines.org/index.php?mod=4269) mod
