I'm getting session expired errors when trying to upload packages and sometimes when making a post, this has just started recently. I'm on 2.0.17.
Thinking about it, the only recent changes that I've made in what I do are (1) I've installed the SMF Theme Changer mod and I do use it. (2) I've renewed/upgraded my AVG antivirus system on the PC ..... and this is giving me warnings about blocking 'security issues' on many sites, which I guess are cookies.
Which is the most likely to be causing the session expired errors?

First of all, could you try to upgrade to the latest version? 2.0.18 it is.
You can eliminate the Theme Changer by uninstalling it and seeing if the problem goes away. If not, make sure your AVG has this site whitelisted.

Whitelisted the forum in my AVG settings and the problem is solved :)
I did think that the AVG upgrade would be the most likely cause.
