I had a look at the conversion scripts but I did not see any converters for xenforo. Did I miss it? I have 2 forums on xf and I want to transfer them to smf 2.1.

Not really sure which Xenforo version. There's this:

But apart from that there's no official converter to use in this case.
You might want to seek for other alternative software to convert to before converting to SMF after that. Maybe phpbb, mybb or something similar which has converters for SMF. Note that you'll most likely need to convert to smf 2.0.x and then do an upgrade, as I don't think that there's 2.1 convertors available yet.

I manage to do that a year ago, if I remember correctly with mybb - smf 2.0 conv.
Step by step, and make sure that you have backup before doing anything :)
