Title: Attachments transfer error
Post by: Dave J on February 24, 2022, 09:42:57 AM
SMF2.1.1
Default theme

Link to site is in my sig.

I realised by an error that came up that I had made a mistake with the sizes of the attachments directories I had already set things so that when the directory was full it would auto create a new one.

On seeing the error I have now tried to transfer the contents of the directories to the main public_html/attachments folder. I select the folder to transfer from and set the directory to send to, when I press on the 'Transfer' button a page comes up and it says 'The database value you're trying to insert does not exist: start'

I should add that prior to the error I set main directory to 500MB storage where as previously it was only 20MB. So in theory it should be transfering.

Have I upset someone that no one has replied to this or the other error regarding the calendar I posted?

Or is it because they are known issues?

Sorry you've been left waiting, tried this on my own forum and ran in to the same issue - so I believe we have uncovered a bug here.

Just to let you all know that this issue is now resolved with the 2.1.2 update.

I have tested moving files and it's not a problem now.

Thanks to those who fixed it
