We've all been there...had to deal with a spammer or an out of line user...
we delete the post but then forget to actually issue a warning...
I kind of wish there were a 1 shot button, delete post and issue warning because it's easy to forget once you delete the post to then go back to the user profile, go over to the issue warning...something more of a 1 click would be nice to add

It would have to be in addition to the current delete post option but I'm all for this. :)
Question: what warning should be issued? Same warning every time?
Maybe delete post and redirect to the warning page where you can set the amount and message etc.

Streamlining the process like this would be the best approach, yes. Reducing the number of extraneous clicks while keeping the necessary flexibility.
