Title: Errors after upgrade
Post by: Ronald_1938 on October 02, 2022, 02:27:49 PM
1. I have 122 errors :  Hook call: function "UTM_Actions" in file /home/seniorsg/public_html could not be called.  I have no clue what this is, as soon as I clear the errors, they come right back.

2. Members cannot login

3. Members cannot get the forum to send a new password

4. Members cannot Register

5. Forum doesn't sent emails any longer.

I sure could use some help with these.

Ron.

The first one means that something is trying to call a hook function called "UTM_Actions", which doesn't exist (since /home/seniorg/public_html is a directory). If you go to Admin -> Maintenance -> Forum Maintenance -> Integration Hooks, you can remove that one.

What happens when someone tries to login or register? Any errors related to that or trying to send emails?

Thank you removed all the RED X's

That takes care of that problem, now the others.

2. Members cannot login ( I logged in OK.)

3. Members cannot get the forum to send a new password (I tried this, and it worked for me.)

4. Members cannot Register (I used a test member to register, worked fine for me.)

5. Forum doesn't sent emails any longer. (Sent me an email for Registering and Password recovery)

I sure could use some help with these.

Ron.

So why would the other members have problems?

Are theere any other errors logged in the error log page? What about the server error?

When members can't login, do they get any errors at all when trying to perform that action?

The same question goes for when they try to register.

I don't know they just say they cannot Register or login. None have mentioned any error message.

Well then that part works, now the email. I just use my own email account; I tried three others and nothing happened.

Email is working, I received activation email immediately after registering, password reset took a while but got it, must have been queued.

Good, I am waiting back on answers from some members who can't sign in. I myself signed out, when I went to login I got a error message small box telling me I couldn't login. That seems to have gone away also.

Logged out, requested new password, received the email, clicked on the link, enter two new passwords the same, got two green check marks.

Clicked save.

Got this: An error has occurred
Invalid activation code

Password reset works for me.  Try changing cookie name in Server Settings, that will log everyone out and force clean cookie for all members.

Change the last digit of the cookie name. Will see what happens now.
