Title: Password resets don’t recognize the email
Post by: rcane on June 09, 2023, 09:20:35 PM
To make sure I'm understanding, if you click "forgot password" it asks for the username or email.

For some reason it's only accepting the username.  It says it doesn't have an email associated when using my test account even though it's THE email.

Is there a lost password setting I'm overlooking?

Can you login with email instead of username?

Actually, yes.  I'd never tried, but yes it appears I can.

Password reset should accept valid email, and it must be valid if you can login with it.  Any odd characters in it?  Logging any errors?

No I'm going with operator error for the moment.  I've tried several test accounts, and they perform as expected.

I'll keep digging.
