Title: I have IP address that is being banned but cannot find trigger
Post by: 808server on August 06, 2024, 12:46:53 AM
Hi everyone.

I have an IP (95.24.235.194) of a user and he cannot log in due to a ban.
How do I work backwards and use this IP to find the trigger?

I tried going through the ban list, but can't find the ban causing this.

Any help appreciated.

Thanks!

See your error logs, if I remember correctly you should see an error logged when a banned user tries to login and sees the ban message, and the error and ban message should give you hints towards what ban is triggered, so you can find it easier.

Thank you! I figured it out. I just did a whois on the ip address, found the domain, looked it up on the ban list and found it. beeline.ru or something like that.
