Title: Posts being truncated when posted
Post by: Kestryll on August 07, 2024, 12:39:29 AM
I'm having an odd issue, when I make a post or thread on my forum no matter what I type or how long it is when I hit post it shows as only the first two or three words.

As an example this post would appear as 'I'm having a' and nothing more.
Any idea what could be causing this?

Well, we need a bit more information.

Site url?
Smf version.
Theme?
Mods installed?

Is it ANY post or posts with specific characters?
English or some other language?

(In particular: apostrophes, especially if copied from a Word document.)

Hi,

Site url: http://www.calguns.org/forum/index.php
Smf version: 2.0.19
Theme: SMF Default Curve
Mods installed: Global Headers Footers    2.0

As far as I know there's no text based triggers, at least none I've seen. It seems to be random, sometimes it's two words sometimes it a sentence or two. This just started recently, I've made no changes and no one else has the authority to do so.

it's just odd...
