Title: [more] Smiley popup window is blank on Apple iOS 17 devices

I'm having a problem with IOS devices.  When making a post I click on the [more] link to see more smileys and it spawns an About:Blank in chrome on Windows it shows the additional smiley. In Safari and Chrome on iOS 17 it spawns an About:Blank page just full of questions marks.

I am on SMF 2.0.19 was this fixed in later versions or is it just a thing we have to live with if using IOS?

We have long abandoned the editor in SMF 2.0 for SCEditor due to lots of tricky bugs and unexpected behavior that stems from bad architecture.

However, there is a modification for you to try that brings in the new editor:  SCEditor Integration for SMF 2.0.x (https://custom.simplemachines.org/index.php?mod=4319)

Thanks for that.  It requires PHP 7 so I need to address this first before I try again.

If you are not already on AT LEAST php 7 (preferably 8+) the you have major issues with your host and security
