just for notice, its not a problem for me:
when i wont to delete a category where no boards a incite, then it brings this message:
You have an error in your SQL syntax near ')' at line 4

when board there, then no problem for deleting
This has been fixed in RC2. Here (http://www.simplemachines.org/community/index.php?topic=51552.msg365900#msg365900)'s a fix.
