Hello all,
I've made a theme which is partly based on the SMF Shadow Theme, and the phpBB subBlack theme. I'm releasing it "as is".
It has only been tested with SMF 1.0.5
It contains buttons, some custom graphics, and an extra button for the SimpleDownloads package found here.
Demo board: http://www.aelst.be/smf/ (http://www.aelst.be/smf/)
Download it here: http://www.kcore.org/?menumain=3&menusub=8 (http://www.kcore.org/?menumain=3&menusub=8)
EDIT: Added the Theme Message Icon
it looks nice, although the phpBB subBlack looks a little different...
The login and register buttons look bigger than the rest?
Good work, looks really nice. Is this your first theme?
I agree with Nesian, the register and login buttons are larger than the others. I don't really think the button set matches at all. Maybe just a plain black set would look nicer.
Other than that, a very useable theme.
Yes, it's my first theme.
And i'll fix those two buttons when I get round to it - time is a problem atm.
time is always a problem :D
good work
my problem
Language-packs: spanish
Could this be updated for RC2?
Yea this theme rocks. Should for sure be part of 1.1 final or at least a option!
rc2 would be great too. ;)
Cool theme! I love the animated icons! Btw, has the Register and Login buttons been fixed?
Ahh, those buttons! Sorry, I didn't really see it since it doesnt seem to show up when you're logged in. Will fix asap. (as in, busy with it now)
Al-trance: if you give me the 'strings' that you'd want to have in spanish i can make an additional languagepack for spanish.
Theme has been uploaded with fixed icons, get it at the usual place.
Would love to be able to use this for RC2...any chance of a update for it?
I admin a site that we modified a threme to look kinda like this, I would use this the day its updated for the current version on smf
devilkin,
can you or someone else make me a [Forum] button for your Theme here?
Later, crip~
Does anyone have a RC2 version of this theme?
Or give me some tips on how to upgrade the current one to RC2.
Thanks.
I've updated the theme to SMF 1.1.1 - it's somewhat different, I used the default theme as a base.

Any comments?
I like it, I might modify it -- ill link you to what I change if I end up using this one.
I tried installing this theme with a 1.1.1 SMF board and I received the error "Unable to load the main_above sub template!"
Any thoughts on what might be causing this and how to fix it?

Check that your FTP program has uploaded the 'missing' file, sometimes when I am upgrading or uploading, some of the files fail to upload.

Just tried this template myself and I am getting the same thing
The problem seems to be if you install themes using the SMF Installer.
Only 50% of the files get installed properly, While the rest show as containing 0 bytes.
Some FTP programs have been know to do this also, SmartFTP is one of them.
If this error occurs again, please check that the majority of your files do not say 0 bytes, if they do, re upload theme and overwrite all.
Then check again that the files contain more than 0 bytes.
Hope this helps!
You do realize this theme is 3 years old :X Thats why it wont work.

You do realize that I updated it for SMF 1.1 and it works perfectly?
Unable to load template
:o
Have tried to upload it twice and it will not work.
Al
What errors do you get?
How did you try to upload the theme? Through the site, or unpacking it and then uploading it?
Usual way,
Zip via 'browse' through admin, always works with other themes.
