Title: Joomla logged in admin doesn't have authority in frontpageٌ
Post by: bijan on December 20, 2005, 06:34:04 AM
Hey ppl, how're ya?

I installed Joomla 1.0.4 with SMF 1-1-beta3p, then I used MOS_SMF_BRIDGEv3.19a_SMF1.1b3, everything's fine and is working just GREAT. Except that if you're an author, editor, manager or admin and you login via mambo_smf_login module, you have no authority to edit anything on frontpage. Even worth, it doesn't recognize you as registered user, so, it doesn't show you articles that only belong to admins for example.

This is a very big problem, is it anything I'm doing wrong?

did you either a) use the modified MOS-SMF.php that Orstio released here on these forums or b) apply the code changes as indicated in the FAQ post and the combined readme post (those are required for proper login with Joomla)
