Title: Off problem with login, you can login from SMF-joomla, but you can't from SMF al
Post by: carlatf on December 21, 2005, 09:59:39 AM
hi People,
I have a little problem. OK, I touched something, the thing is that I don't know what, because I touched a lot today.. ;)

Now, inmediatelly after a new account registers you got: (via the smf login embebbed in smf).
"You can't login. Please check you cookie configuration" (I can login perfectly from the same place as any other user created before this one).

Basically I can't login anymore, although users are created fine.
I created for example the user blublu, pass blublu.
And when I try to login "I get username or password incorrect, please try again"

[client 200.55.85.136] PHP Notice:  Undefined index:  action in /var/www/users/escuela/acidobase.com.ar/public_html/components/com_smf/smf.php on line 29, referer: http://acidobase.com.ar/index.php?option=com_smf&Itemid=21&/board,59.0.html

The funny thing is that I can login from the smf/joomla login module and then you can login/logout perfectly from that account, even from the smf module that you coulnd't use before. And that I can login/logout fine from the users created before this one, no matter what login use I use smf or smf/joomla.
Any ideas? can a problem with templates cause this? The template look is mostly what I'be touched this week.

cordially,
Carla

It could definitely be the template.  What version of SMF are you running, and what version was the template made for?

The easiest test is to switch to the default template and see if you still have the problem.

Turn off SEF in SMF.
