I'd like my regular members to be able to edit/delete any event on the calendar, and I have calendar_edit_own and calendar_edit_any both checked. But when they click on the asterisk to edit, they get: "You aren't allowed to modify just any post. "
Obviously, I don't want them to able to edit posts, but I want them to be able to delete the event off the calendar.

are they linked events or standalong events? If the event is linked to a post I'm afraid SMF currently doesn't support editing them - I know it's something of a bug tho...
Yeah, these are linked events. Bummer. It seems like they should be able to delete the calendar part without deleting the post part, though. Otherwise, why bother having separate permissions?
