Otsikko: Integration with Oracle XE
Kirjoitti: dizwell - tammikuu 03, 2006, 06:08:11 IP
I'm not sure if this should count as a feature request or an integration issue, but here goes for nothing anyway!

Currently, it's still in beta, but Oracle Corporation have recently released 'Oracle Express Edition' (Oracle XE), a free version of their standard product, limited to 1GB in size, but otherwise functionally identical to their other offerings, and capable of being painlessly upgraded to their paid-for offerings should the need arise. I would love for there to be an Oracle XE backend to my forum, instead of a MySQL one.

Any plans for integrating with Oracle XE (and perhaps other) backend databases, apart from MySQL?

Cheers,
HJR
