Is there any chance that the most commonly censored words could be included as part of the install package?
Or some way of uploading a word list as opposed to typing each individual one?
Why not start a thread here, and ask for people to donate their rules, and compile something? I guess a default list could be included as standard though.
But yes, some more effient way of uploading them is called for.
We don't include a list as standard because we don't want to distribute something with swearing in it - potentially we would then have to make the download age restricted - certainly in the UK :/

Really?
Well - maybe not :P
However, we wouldn't want to offer something up for download with swearing in it, seems inappropriate.
Also what is acceptable language varies greatly from community to community. If I posted the same type of language here as I did on another forum I belong to you can be sure that I'd have the team coming down on me hard.

:D
However, the original point holds true, that it is a chore to make entries into the censor list, as it stands. I still think it might be useful, for some, if ready made lists were available from somewhere, but there needs to be an easier way to make the entries. Personally, I just have a rule, "no swearing". It works pretty well in the main, and only gets enforced when flouted excessively. I can see that won't work for some.
