Otsikko: Setting default theme for shared installations?
Kirjoitti: Atarian - tammikuu 07, 2006, 02:58:39 IP
I'm setting up a smf hosting site and I was wondering if there is a way to change the theme it loads by default. I want all new installations to use the theme I specify.

Thanks,
Jeff

How about you replace the files in the 'default' folder with those of your theme?

I hate to keep bumping this, but I just want to be sure that it is not ok to edit the default theme.

It is indeed best not to change the default theme.

You're setting up a hosting service similar to SMF for Free? The easiest way would be to simply set the database setting when you create a new forum. Try 'theme_default' in {$db_prefix}settings
