Ok, I know I found it last time I looked for it .... but I cant seem to put my finger on it again!!
In default RC2 theme, what code do I use in BoardIndex.template.php to hide admin from the hidden user count .... I've tried playing with it but I end up with an additional Member Online - 1 more than shows in the list of names!!
Any help please .....

I don't let users hide on my board. So when I go on and don't want anyone to know that I'm online I'd like to knock out the part of the user online count that says (1 user hidden) Has anyone got any idea on how to do this??

Bump. I was just searching the forum for this exact sort of thing. There is an "Admin Spy Mode (http://www.simplemachines.org/community/index.php?topic=22766.0)" edit that Unknown posted, but that doesn't include the above request. Normal users know that the hidden guy is the Admin, so it would be nice to take out the Admins from the Hidden Users count.

The best that I can find is this thread (http://www.simplemachines.org/community/index.php?topic=32067.0), which has a couple edits. One makes the hidden users go into the User count, and the other takes Hidden Users out of all of the counts.
This edit (http://www.simplemachines.org/community/index.php?topic=37029.15) will make them show up in the Guests count.
Thanks for that ... I'd done a search a while back and didn't find anything so the guest mod works great ....
I'd even had users send msg's telling me not to hide :) so this will work out good ...
back to hidding when I dont want to be disturbed ....

I did some more research and edited my post above. Unknown posted an edit to hide Hidden users from all counts.:D
Now, if only we could get help to figure out a way to take away "Last Active:" in the profiles of those that are hidden users. They should be shown to admins and maybe global mods, but to no one lower. While my users can't see that I am online, they can most certainly go to my profile in the members list, from a post, or even Users Online Today and see that I was on about 15 seconds ago. I think that if we could get help on this one, we could have ourselves a complete Hidden Admin mod. I'd even finally put together my first actual mod if we could get that information.
Good stuff .. go for it. I'm sure we're not the only ones interested in this
