Otsikko: Need Help with SSI
Kirjoitti: myndcraft - tammikuu 13, 2006, 04:23:36 IP
My guilds forums get a lot of traffic, most of it non-important, so I would like to set up a page that basically shows links to important documents. The idea I came up with, and mind you I'm a n00b so I may be way off, was to use SSI and <?php ssi_boardNews(); ?>

What I figured I would do is create a board viewable by everyone, but only editable by the officers. I would create a sole thread in there called "Important Posts" and we could modify it as needed with links to the actual important posts in the forums.

The problem I'm having is how I pass to ssi_boardNews() the board in question. I looked at SSI.php and it seems I should be able to do it, but I can't figure out how the boards are numbered.

So with that said hopefully I am making sense and am doing this the right way. If so can someone tell me how to figure out the board numbering or point me in the right direction.

Thanks!
