Hi,
I can use the login SMF/Joomla module correcty. But when I try to log in from inside SMF I get "username or password incorrect".
This didn't happen with RC1.
The problematic forum is at: www.tresjolie.com.ar
user test
password test
Can I go back to RC1 despite de DB change?
best,
Carla
I don't think you can, unless you had it back up your tables, in which case you could restore from those.
Is that one of the Joomlahack versions of the bridge? Did you see if there is an updated version for RC2?
I have backups, but now I have new members and I'd like to keep them.
There's a more updated version of the bridge but I've updated and there was no change in that aspect. I still could login fine from the SMF/Joomla Login component but not from inside SMF itself.
You will find better support for the JoomlaHacks bridge at joomlahacks.com.
Hi,
I uninstalled the other bridge and I installed the 3.20 bridge and the same happens (wrapped and unwrapped).
I still can't login from inside SMF!.
I see in the logs "PHP Notice: Undefined variable: act in /public_html/administrator/components/com_smf/admin.smf.php on line 149, referer: http://tresjolie.com.ar/administrator/index2.php?option=com_smf&task=config"
line 149 is: " <input type="hidden" name="act" value="', $act, '" />"

That has nothing to do with logging in.
I just registered, and logged into your site, with no problem whatsoever.
When you installed this, was your username and password in both SMF and Joomla the same?
Hi Orstio,
Now it works! :) I guess it must be a problem with the templates I fixed yesterday because now everything works perfectly! :) I just login from the test account and from my account.
Yest my Joomla and SMF user and password were/are the same.
Many thanks for the bridge! :)
Best,
Carla
