Title: Trying to sort out how to keep the forum inside Joomla
Post by: Nig on January 16, 2006, 07:38:06 PM
I've been searching the posts here, trying to get SMF to keep inside Joomla. It looks simple enough. However, i read one post which said to put a line of code at line 2 of the smf index.php, which I tried. It screwed everything up. I removed adn re-uploaded the file, and now the forum will not work at all.
I get these messages:

Notice: Constant WIRELESS already defined in /smf/index.php on line 78
An Error Has Occurred!
Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /components/com_smf/smf.php:95)

Notice: Array to string conversion in /smf/Sources/Subs.php on line 1798

Notice: Undefined offset: 1 in /smf/Sources/Subs.php on line 1800

SO there are two questions here.

1 How do I get my forum back!
2 How do I get it to stay inside Joomla and not break out into its own page?

I'm using SMF 1.0.5 and Joomla 1.04

Thanks

Nig

What version of the bridge have you installed?

That error usually happens with the joomlahacks version of the bridge.  Cowboy doesn't show up here much, so you'll have better luck asking about that over at joomlahacks.com/.

I'm using version 1.0.2a for the bridge

...and I'll try over at the joomlahacks place as well.

Thanks
