i am using 1.1rc2 default theme. for some reason these post and topic boxes have spread out. it is only appearing under the categories that have child boards.

That doesnt look like smf default?

its the default theme, just colors have been changed in the style.css file. i haven't changed anything within the default theme except colors, and changed the main and mirror tab gifs.

i found another forum using smf 1.1rc2 with the exact same problem. i dont know what theme they are using, but it is doing the same thing mine is doing. i have tried the site from two different machines with firefox and ie with the same results.

Did the problem occur before you changed the colours?

Do you have any errors in your error log?

as far as i know, yes, it was like this before color change was made. i couldn't image why a change of color would cause this, and on two different boards. i am just building this board right now, getting mods and such working correctly, and then i will be deleting it and building a fresh site. i was just hoping to get this resolved now, but if there is no help then i will just see what the fresh install brings. thanks

The colour change should not have caused anything but I could be a mistake if they are nearby in CSS, etc.

Also it could be a mod that is causing the problem

I am seeing the same problem.  I have child boards put 5-6 deep, and counts are not going up to the parent board.  I have the lastest software loaded.
