Also on the download site we have the arcade versions of the above themes :)
As always suggestions and comments are welcome, we will try our best in helping
Looks nice. Rather unique. :)
Don't miss the second set of buttons that come in the package for Venus. There are a set made to customise this theme into a valentines day theme, Venus and all that. lol
looks nice, but the black spotty bit would look better if it wasn't there, as in so you could see the background.
Also you can tell the background has been inlarged, maybe try giving it a blur ;)
thanks aka :)
Nesian wich planet :)
We have sorted the Venus background it looks alot better, I hope this was the on you were on about nesian.
For those who have downloaded before this edit please replace it with
New Background (http://www.test.thelastbreathe.co.uk/forum/Themes/Venus/images/planetlove.jpg)
all you need to do is upload this into Venus/images
We are proud to release this theme with Arcade by Niko.
Also we would like to thank Niko for allowing us to release Mars Arcade using the Arcade mod.
please check the download link on first post :)
Not my cup of tea, but if it was toned down a bit, I think Planets/Solar System could be a very interesting concept for a theme series...
Well we are gonna make a theme series out of it, but we have hut a snag with Bloc already having Neptune :)
Anyway we will work around that.
Update Venus Arcade is now available on the download page, see first post for the link :)
i think you went a little overboard with background images. theyre everywhere. Also, there is too much contrast, it's hurting my eyes.
is there a specific windows back you are on about tipp?
id leave the stars for the main background only, to draw the content away from the background. and in the message index, the "galaxy" background for stickys have parts in them that blend in with the text to much, making it harder to read.
Yes, I understood that you planned a series. And even though I find the Planets concept very interesting, I could never see myself using it in its current form, would you? If the design had been more minimalistic, something along the lines of Bloc's HalloweenNight maybe, I would probably be much more positive.
A workaround for the conflict with Bloc's existing Neptune theme could be to make a Planets Multi/Solar System Multi where each celestial body in our solar system represents a variation. To create a multicoloured/multithemed theme like Helios Multi would require MUCH more work though.
As I respect Tippmasters opinions aswella s everyone elses, we have decided also to release another file type so it is easier to the eyes that prefer that aswell as the fuller version for those that dont care.
We have discussed a Multi like Blocs Helios but that will be in distance when all planets are done. :)
Since less is usually more in my book when it comes to Internet design, I look forward to see how the stripped down version turns out, and good luck with the work ahead :)
ive added the MarsLo Live Demo and VenusLo Live Demo to first thread thay have also been added to the Download Page :)
As has been mentioned these themes have also been tested with MK Portal and work well. However if you are using MKPortal I advise that when you install these themes you go into modify themes and then select to edit the css, then just save it without doing anything, via the admin cp. This seems to make the portal use the theme background properly. I don't know why this is, but it works.
Ade
Personally I love the Theme's, Mars-Lo is my fav..how would one go about <<- left aligning the text..? Other than that there all really good. :)
Later, Crip~
If I mind correctly its index.template.php and its at the top of the page.
Ill confirm this when I get home but im pretty sure thats where it is.
I am glad you like this theme :)
Tis this bit:-
<tr class="windowbg2">
<td colspan="2" valign="middle" align="center" class="tborder" style="border-width: 1px 0 0 0; font-size: smaller;">';
Which is found on lines 146 to 149, just change align="center" (highlighted in red) to align="left" and this will left justify the text inside the forums and the topic/boards list.
Alas we hit a snag, Neptune has already been released, so we have taken Neptunes Greek Name so Poseidon has been added, aswell as PoseidonLo, on thje first thread :)
Both Poseidon and PoseidonLo have been added to download page please check first post for download details, arcade verision will be addeds later
The themes Poseidon (all versions) and Venus (all versions) had the im_reply.gif missing. This has now been fixed in the archives available in our downloads area, for those who have already downloaded these themes however here are the buttons.

They are pretty nice, good job! But am I missing a point here, since when Poseidon is a planet?
Poseidon isnt a planet, however Bloc has made a theme called Neptune and we didnt want people to get confused. Poseidon is another name for the god Neptune :)
We are proud to announce that Pluto is now available :)
Please check the first post for live demos
Update
Please do not download Pluto there is an error in the download file
Error has been fixed
Looks nice. Very interesting concept. :)
We have finally got closer to home and made Earth check firt posts for live demos and the download page for downloads :)
We hope you enjoy Your Home planet
I have now made versions of these themes without the background behind the header area and the forum area so that you can see the main forum background better. I think that these are what Nesianstyles had in mind when he suggested that they would look better if you could see the background.
Demos of the Lo versions of these transparant themes are:-
Earth (http://www.ang-sites.co.uk/portaltest/forum/index.php?;theme=44)
Mars (http://www.ang-sites.co.uk/portaltest/forum/index.php?;theme=45)
Poseidon (http://www.ang-sites.co.uk/portaltest/forum/index.php?;theme=47)
Venus (http://www.ang-sites.co.uk/portaltest/forum/index.php?;theme=49)
Pluto (http://www.ang-sites.co.uk/portaltest/forum/index.php?;theme=51)
HermesLo Transparant (http://www.ang-sites.co.uk/portaltest/forum/index.php?;theme=57)A good one for those of you who like shades of orange and yellow.
Please see first post in this thread for the download link.
Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls we are proud to rellease the biggest planet im the Sol System
Jupiter
check for post for the Live Demos and the post above for the transparent demo,
Also as always downloads are on first post.
In addition we have now set up an account on the test site for you to try out the different themes. Username is SMF and password is themes .
Ok the following code is from the BlocZone Forum...
Have you ever thought of Transparency and Fixed Backround image ?
this is from the themes css:
/* The main body of the entire forum. */
body
{
background-color: transparent;
margin: 0px;
padding: 0;
background-image: url(images/XXXYOURPICTURE.XXX);
background-position: top left;
background-attachment: fixed;
background-repeat: no-repeat;
-moz-opacity:0.9;
filter:alpha(opacity=10);
}
The Theme Idea itself is great, good work. The only thing i didn't like that much are the "points" in the posting backround.
I had a play with the transparancy set to 70 and it looked quite nice. I don't think that Sloopz would though, and many people would find that it made the forum difficult to read.
Points in the posting background? Are you reffering to the image in the background of the text area when posting? If so then this is easily removed by editing this part of the style.css:-
textarea
{
font-size: 100%;
color: #000000;
font-family: verdana, sans-serif;
background-image: url(images/jupiter.jpg);
}
Removing the line highlighted in red.
If however you are referring to the starry backgrounds then I suggest that you download the Lo version of the themes rather than the normal versions.
Also if you just want to be able to see more of the background through the forum you might like to try the transparant versions (not the tranparancy you suggested, but rather the areas around the boards do not have a background in them so that you can see the main background) wich include transparant versions of the Lo themes.
Folks are welcome to modify these themes to their own tastes, the only part they must not change (as usual) is the copyright text for a) the themed designers and b) the SMF copyright.
We are proud to release Mercury and MercuryLo
But as the seasoned smf user knows our friend Bloc has Mercury so we are using it as Hermes aswell :)
Check first link for Live Demos
DOWNLOADS FOR THIE VERSION ARE NOT AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME
