Otsikko: Passwords not recognized, forums not found

Hi all, this is my first post here... I'm trying out Simple Machines (downloaded latest version a few days ago), and am having some problems. When I first tried it, everything seemed to work fine, although I didn't test a lot around. Then, I started to have problems.

I couldn't get logged from the first page, but second login -page where I was directed got me logged in. Then I noticed that when I tried to write to the test forum, I got an error -page, "The board you specified doesn't exist".

Today I tried to log in again, and even the second page couldn't get me logged in. I installed the whole thing again, I got logged in during the installation proccess but couldn't get to the admin part due to password.

Then I tried to install the forum to another directory, using different db names and this time without Finnish language pack - and again, can't log in.

Has anyone got any idea what could cause this kind of problems?

Thanks, Aäron, that helped a little. But how can cookies do that? It's not very nice thing for users...

And, I'm only back to previous phase. First login -screen gives me error, second lets me in. First screen's form calls onsubmit="hashLoginPassword("... , second doesn't.
