Title: Margin problem with joomla and smf
Post by: xcess on February 01, 2006, 05:43:56 PM
Hello all,

I successfully installed my joomla and SMF site and placed the bridge + several addons ..

If you look at my site: http://www.3rdrock.be you will see when you go to the forum that the site makes a little margin above the banner.

Where do I have to alter this? Any help would be most welcome!

*** EDIT apparently this only occurs when a user is logged in.... ***

1- can't find the site at that link...

edit joomla/template/templatename/index.php if the banner is in Joomla
edit smf/Themes/themename/index.template.php if the banner is in SMF...

a test user login would also be useful...

However, I just realized that this is a joomlahacks bridge...   Support for that one should be over on joomlahacks.com

hmmm... interesting.  When I visited the site this afternoon, there was a "bridge by joomlahacks" line below the SMF copyright...   it looks like he switched to 1.1.2 after that...   lol

indeed, I switched... Didn't liked the "Beta" from Joomlahacks.

Now... I still have the same problems.... Normally the site should touch the uppr edge of my screen...
Even without logging into the forum you can see it now.

Any hints for me?

Thx in advance (this bridge is indeed THE best)

And besides that I have another issue.... when I login on the frontpage... I get warped to the unwrapped forum....  :(

I made a testaccount: user: tester , pass: 1234

I corrected the issue that made you warp to the unwrapped forum... i used a module that was not right. So I think it works now.

Only to get rid of that margin problem now :(

Check your SMF CSS.
