Title: SMF - Joomla integration problem
Post by: depika on February 13, 2006, 03:27:46 PM
Hello

I have installed SMF 1.0.6
I then installed the MamboSMFForum_1.3.1.zip in SMF
I then installed the SMF-Forum Component, the SMF-Registration Component and the Login Module in Joomla.

I see the SMF wrapped in Joomla.

i followed exactly the instructions and I added the required code in the index.html of the template and have published the Login module.

However, I am facing the following problem

If I login to the wrapped smf forum then I am logged in Joomla as well.
However, If I try to login to Joomla and to SMF through the Login module nothing happens. The page just refreshes but I am not logged in.

It has also come to my attention that the login module doesn't work in case I press the logout button in case i have logged in from the wrapped SMF forum.

So it seems like the Login module I have installed is not functioning. Do you know what may be wrong? I would appreciate any advice I could get

Thanks in advance,

Depika

Looks to me like a question for www.joomlahacks.com.

It looks to me like you've installed a little bit of the Joomlahacks bridge, and a little bit of the one supported here.

You should know that they are not compatible.  You must install one or the other, not both.

Thank you all for your replies.

I have installed a new Login Module for Joomla from JoomlaHacks.
