I run a large forum targeted for local community (town). I have several categories and boards used by some organisations or other web sites to form their own communities but keep all the members on one place as single large community. We like how thing works. It is nice that SMF can have different themes for each category allowing us to make them to graphicaly be linked to main sites they belong to.

It would be good if there is an option to set forum to be accessible under several domains, and that is uses specific theme regarding domain used.

I mean if we have three sites as site1.com, site2.com and site3.com, we would like to have forums for them forum.site1.com, forum.site2.com and forum.site3.com but that all three forum domains actualy point to the same SMF forum but forum to change itss looks depending od domain used.

Also it may be good if we can limit access to categories and boards depending on domain used (meaning to hide boards that er of no interest to siteh whos theme is used), and even ordering of the categories and forums (meaning, to move on top boards that belong to site who's template is used)

I know this is a long shot idea, but I guess it won't hurt to ive it a thought.

You can make a fullsite wrapper and just send it to the adress
http://forum.site1.com/index.php?theme=3
From forum.site3.com maybe...

Exclent. It seems my idea is possible. All what is needed is ti change SMF not to insit on domain set in configuration.
