The portuguese buttons work fine anda are great.
Some brazillian friends are asking for the portuguese brazillian version of the buttons. I wonder if you could post them here too.
Thanks!
Great job.
If you need translation in Indonesian for the buttons, I can deliver them :)
Please read which languages are already posted before you pm me for psd's. In addition please don't request extra buttons in this thread.
Please focus in this thread on the translation of the default smf buttons.

For italian and hebrew some modifications were done but not yet uploaded.
Russian language archive replaced with an updated version (attached to 1st post).
Some of the hebrew arent correct, I sent you the updated list.
Didn't you translate the Hebrew in the first place, and now you're saying they aren't correct?
Yes I made a few mistakes, well not mistakes but for example.
I tranlated "reply" as "to reply" in hebrew and the new tranlations are correct.
And there were a few minor typos. :D

This is a very good suggestion! I think the best translation will come out if you guys work well together. Several languages are translated by teams...
As for the hebrew buttons I would love to see texts which are approved by *both* of you.
The italian translators wished some text modifications on the buttons. The modified italian buttons are uploaded (attached to the 1st post).
These changes will not make it into the Beta 4.1 Italian package, but will be in the Beta 5.
Nice work Andrea. :)

Are you blind? Norsk has been done long ago. And the buttons are even in the download files as bostasp already wrote.
P.S. Again: please stop any offtopic talk in this thread - all offtopic posts will be removed! No need for monster threads. This thread is for nothing else than translation of the default buttons.
Is Beta 5 going to come public soon cause not sure if we should wait untill then to tranlate,
BTW, were tranlating hebrew together and we already have good buttons.
At current, Lamper, I'm trying to see if I can release a cvs copy of the language files to a few translators.
Saying that, I'd presume Beta 5 to be released shortly, though, we're still in production, so shortly could mean anything ;)
Either way, it will not be public right away or anything.

Probably both of us worked on translations at the same time - I sent my button strings translation (much different in some cases) to Andrea in October. Since yossa's translation became official I must notice one button needs urgent correction due to spelling mistake in current set: im_reload.gif and one button has not been translated: newsbox.gif. I hope yossa will take care of it.
Regards,
Andrzej

Oh my... I did make the mistake in im_reload, thanks for pointing that out. As for newsbox it was my choice not to translate it, I might reconsider it. One more thing Andrzej - did you start to translate actual SMF language files? When I was halfway through the translation I noticed you volunteered to do it and I asked bostasp if you were in contact with him about any progress, because I didn't want to just scrap all the stuff I had done. He said you didn't report any progress so I just assumed you abandoned the idea and proceeded with further translation.

Hi Andrea,
greek buttons look great, although it would be possible to shorten the text in some buttons a little bit, because if you have several buttons in a row next to each other, they don't fit into the same line...
One question: Now I want to change the color of the (greek) buttons for a different theme, to something with a darker background. How can this be done the easiest way?
Besten Dank in voraus für Deine Zeit...
Polish, greek and vietnamese buttons for rc2 are re-uploaded with some changes (attached to 1st post).
@kitharodos :
For greek text changes on the default buttons please coordinate with spiros.
For recolorization of the default buttons please contact babylonking.
For other button styles in greek language you can contact me (all my free button sets are also available in greek, just post in the appropriate button thread when you miss your language, for a custom button set just drop me a pm).

The Russian button set has a serious problem. The Russian letter "y" is not written like "Y" in its capitalized form, and that is exactly what these buttons have. The correct capital version of "y" would be "У". This incorrect letter really stands out to any native Russian reader. :)
The Kazakh language, for example, has several letters like this one. There is y (capital is У), then there is ү (capital is Y), and finally there is ұ (capital is Ұ).
The chinese-traditional buttons are remade from scratch with a better font (attached to 1st post). Since chinese words are big the buttons have been remade in a bigger style. The underlying blank button torso was kindly provided by babylonking. The chinese button strings were translated by CapriSkye.

Where can I find it ?
By the way, I'd like to get the .psd of the default buttons, because I'd like to change the color: is this possible ?

Spanish buttons are in spanish lang pack. See downloads area. PSD's arent released.

On the download page or in the packages you download (SMF versions).
Hi...
I need two ( 2 ) buttons that aren't translated for the Albanian language.
The one is the markunread and can be like this:
markunread = SHËNO SI TË PALEXUAR
I don't know if you can feat all this text to that button but this is the correct translation for that.
And also the new button can be like this.
new = I RI
If some1 can fix that will be great.
Also I want to know which program you use for the translation of the buttons and if we can obtain the buttons without the text.
Bye all
I can make those two. Do you have an actual albanian translation for 1.0.5? It would be great if I can post it on the download page.
I have but is not 1.0.5 and I'm working on that.
My free time is to little cause of my 6 days a week job but when is ready I will be glad to suprot you on this.
Unfortunately for me I don't have any support on the translations.
Sorry guys I need those translations to be complete as well but so far I have the translations of what users can see. Not the help and admin part.
Sorry
Any ways we'll be in tach for anything new.

Any updates? You're still translating, right? Do you need some help? Perhaps you can ask users here. :)
I'm glad to announce that the basic staffs are done:
So, so far is translated in Albanian the following:
index.english
Post.english
Profile.english
Stats.english
And all this are the lattes ones // Version: 1.1 RC1
I have some more work to do with the Search.english // Version: 1.1 RC1 but probably I will translate only what the users can see. I can understand better the administration menu in English is I prefere it like this and I believe everybody else prefere what the users can't see to be in English.
I have one funny problem i have to admit.
Postimi i fundit ( stand for the last post): September 23, 2005, 07:20:34 AM
ne ( stands for in ): Topic Here ( from ) - (user here ) etc etc.
So the index.english is translated but the September thing ( the month ) I can't find it antwhere to the files and it remains September in English. This is strange 4 sure. I was thinking why ???
How i change the months, those are translated already :-X
Anyway so far this is done. If you need only those I can send a temporary link so you can obtain them.
Just let me know...
Bye
Could you make the button strings list public? it would help translating other themes...
Can i have them in finnish, thank you :D
