All I am trying to do is put some code into the "Edit Forum News" and it won't allow it. It ends up showing the actaul code. I am trying to get it to show a logo and link to the website. Anyone else having these issues? Here is an example code that I'm putting in:
<td><center><a href="http://www.waterfowldecals.com/"><img src="http://pnwhf.net/Themes/classic/images/wd_advertising_banner.jpg"></a><center></td>
Any suggestions????
Try getting rid of the "<td>" and ''</td>".
Use BBC code instead of html
Html should work, shouldn't it?
Not unless you put tags around it and even them I'm not 100% sure if it'll work.
OK. Well, FYI, the description reads: "... Some BBC tags, such as ... are allowed in your news, as well as smileys and HTML. ..."
anunlike,
That's what I thought. I mean if it says you can use html code you should be able to. Guess not though. ???
Or it's just not perfected, yet. ???
I don't know BBC code, does anyone have a readme or howto for somple code like the above example I gave? ??? ::)

Ok I did a little bit of testing and HTML works fine in 1.1. However in 1.0 it doesn't like the img tag. So simply change your news item to
<center><a href="http://www.waterfowldecals.com/">

</a></center>
<center><a href="http://www.waterfowldecals.com/">[img]http://pnwhf.net/Themes/classic/images/wd_advertising_banner.jpg[/img]</a></center>
Still looks like it doesn't show right. It will show the actual banner now but it shows the code in front and behind the logo. :o ???
