I have doemloaded the newest simple machines forum version, and it says to clock on the instal.PHP file. And whenever i do it says "To open this file windows needs to know what kind of program created it. Windows can go online to look it up automatically, or you can manually select from a list of programs on your computer."

I have tried to do both but i still cannot run it. Can anyone help me with this problem?

You have to upload it to a webserver first. do you have a webserver?

Yes how do i do that? wait i think if you meen a domain name yes. But other than that i do not know what you are talking about.

It does the exsact same thing when i download apache.
