Okey, so I got my server. http://localhost/phpinfo.php/ (http://localhost/phpinfo.php/) is the link.

Now what do I do? =3 If I have to do codes and so on, can someone help me with that, pretty please? ^^;

Could you please explain the problem a bit more?

The file you have provided is a local link so we cant see it. You can always copy and paste the output if you don't know how to make the server public ;)

Output? What's that? X3 I'm sorry, I have no idea what to do.. But I learn fast! ^^;

I made a file called phpinfo.php in the www-file. That's when I got the link. I have also installed EasyPHP.

I see what you are trying to do now ;)

Have you extracted the forum files from the zip and put them in the correct folder?

If you have you can now run the install.php in your browser ;)

Have you put the forum files in your webserver folder. I dont know which folder easyphp uses but it should say in the easyphp documentation.

You need to run the install.php through your browser. The path will be something like http://localhost/*/install.php

* = probably forum but could be something else depending on how you have named it

I would suggest that you read the easyphp documentation before attempting to install SMF again.

This installation guide should get you started:

I still don't get it! >:( God, it's so hard being norwegian sometimes, not understanding everything.. =P

Anyway, I've made a notepad-file, named project1   I've written

<html>
<head>
<title>My first page in PHP</title>
</head>
<body>

</body>
</html>

Current date : <? print (Date("l F d, Y")); ?>

</body>
</html>

on it. Was that completely wrong, or am I on the right track? (Which I doubt I am)

If you can manage to get the sample php file (that one you have just posted) to work then you are 99% of the way there

/edit: You know there is a norweigan SMF forum: http://www.simplemachines.org/community/index.php?board=17.0
