Hi,
You might remember us; we were here some time ago touting SMF's featuring in a Jerrata press release (http://hypercomplex.jerrata.com/index.php?topic=6.0).
In fact SMF has now become the cornerstone of the site, hosting Backbone productsite (http://hypercomplex.jerrata.com/index.php?topic=7.0), our press system (http://hypercomplex.jerrata.com/index.php?board=10.0) (which we think is really cool), and support (http://hypercomplex.jerrata.com/index.php?board=9.0). A Jerrata charter membership (http://www.simplemachines.org/charter/) is something we're looking at.
Just a post to say thanks, and 'hey, come look at us.' 8)
Nice work :)
Don't forget to investigate using the SMF SSI functions on sections of your website :) See http://hypercomplex.jerrata.com/ssi_examples.php for examples
Hi daniel15,
Thanks for the pointer. If you have any criticism of the site itself, do post!

The same for anyone else out there; post here or there (http://hypercomplex.jerrata.com/index.php?board=6.0). :)
hi,
Here's a new thing we've done, launched today:
We've coupled our webhost (http://www.lunarpages.com/)'s ability to redirect subdomains with SMF to give an even greater illusion of a standalone productsite; witness backbone.jerrata.com loading an SMF post Backbone Productsite 1 (http://backbone.jerrata.com/).
Obviously this is not mind-bending to the SMF experts out there, but the slickness of technique is undeniable. >:(
Thanks, Your friends at Jerrata Corporation (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jerrata_Corporation).
We're back and we got some more cool stuff:
The existence of child boards and those boards' descriptions can be used to disseminate information; L1 and L2 Backbone license specifics are displayed in just this manner, here (http://hypercomplex.jerrata.com/index.php?board=24.0).
There is also a trend of staff replying to staff messages, wherein the first message in a thread is navigation--providing links to other/relevant data--and the second message introduces real content. You can visit this page (http://backbone.jerrata.com/) to see what I'm talking about.
We'll continue finding ways to use existing features better. Till then, thanks from your friends at the Jerrata Corporation (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jerrata_Corporation).
One item to add to your forum-organization-arsenal:
This is a strategy we've nicknamed the Information Directory. In the past we maintained "Manifest" topics whose job was to display links to all related on-forum information; we still have a press release manifest up (http://press.jerrata.com/) now.
We're replacing these with information directories like our Backbone Case Study board index (http://case-studies.jerrata.com/). In fact, the user gains information just cruising the board, not having touched any content yet.
We love SMF!
Your friends, Jerrata Corporation (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jerrata_Corporation)
