I am trying a fresh install of SMF 1.1 RC2 and after getting through the FTP screen and entering the Basic and MySQL Server settings and clicking Proceed the form just submits and I am returned to the same screen, with the default values entered. No error messages or anything.

Anyone got any ideas on this one?

Have you chmod'd your files/folders as per the install doc ???
