I downloaded SMF 1.1RC2 from the downloads page and uploaded it in my directory. When running the upgrade.php file, I got this error message:

"The upgrader found some old or outdated language files.

Please make certain you uploaded the new versions of all the files included in the package, even the theme and language files for the default theme.

Click here to try again."

I don't see why I wouldn't have the language files, as I uploaded everything I got from the SMF 1.1RC2 update download. Any suggestions?

Is this a fresh install or an upgrade?

Make sure that index.php is replaced. Same goes for install.english.php. Is your default language english?
