SMF Version: SMF 1.1 RC2

First I got a copyright violation message. I figured that out from past messages in this forum, and uploaded all the .php files again through FTP. But now I'm getting this message:

LainaaDatabase Error
Please try again. If you come back to this error screen, report the error to an administrator.

I'm not sure where to look to troubleshoot it.

Double check tha the information in Settings.php is correct. Compare it with Settings_bak.php.

Download boath files and open them both and make sure that the information there is corect.
