Hi, just installed Simple Machines tonight, first time user. I installed the forums and everything went fine, then i went looking for themes and they all installed fine. But the one thing I noticed is that when I use other themes than the 2 default ones given, at the bottom of my index, the forum stats arent shown.
It says Total Posts and Latest members and shows all the statistic categories, but no numbers or data are entered next to them. It will just say "Total Members:"
Since I just installed it and tried using about 10 different themes all missing the stats, i figure its something wrong with my boards. Is there something I have to enable or check?
Would you be able to provide a link at all ??? In some themes things are in different places.
yep here it is. At the bottom in Forum Stats

While looking through the forums, I also noticed now that when you go to the search page, alot of information and variables are missing but works fine on my default SMF theme.
Can you show a link to your forum with the stats working? Have you enabled for example guests to view the stats of your forum for this theme? Review your settings for the theme you posted a link to.
Heres a link to the board with the as default

I set it so you can change the theme to black22 to see the info missing.
(NOTE: I had other themes installed before and had the same problem with numbers and words missing from forum stats and search section)
Also yes I do have it set so guests can see the info. Im also admin on the forums and I still cant see the stats or any words on the search page.
Thanks for helping me figure this out.
Make sure you're using the 1.0.x version of that theme. Several variables changed in 1.1RC2, so that could be why you're having problems.
oh, yea that could be a problem. Ill go through the coding and change them for the themes I guess, Ill take a look and get back to you
Where would the forum stats and search page coding be located with SMF?
Yep that was the problem. I had SMF 1.0.7 installed and was using the theme for 1.1rc2
Thanks
