I have used the Classic YaBB SE Theme, and have tried to change the white text to black by editing the css file but to no avail. Please do help me on how to correct this problem. Thanks!
Where exactly do you want to change?
I want to change the white text in the forum post to black. Here is the link to the screenshot of the post message display. Thanks in advance!

Search for this (or something similar) in your style.css:
/* By default (td, body..) use Verdana in black. */
body, td, th
{
color: #FFF;
font-size: small;
font-family: verdana, sans-serif;
}
And replace it with this:
/* By default (td, body..) use verdana in black. */
body, td, th , tr
{
color: #000;
font-size: small;
font-family: verdana, sans-serif;
}
I do not know but when I did that nothing have actually changed ??? I wonder what the problem is...
Can you provide a link to your website?
Here is the LINK (http://www.northquad.gov.ph/forum).
Search for this in your style.css file:
/* Alternating backgrounds... */
.windowbg
{
color: #FFFFFF;
background-color: #afc6db;
}
.windowbg2
{
color: #FFFFFF;
background-color: #f8f8f8;
}
And replace it like this:
/* Alternating backgrounds... */
.windowbg
{
color: #000;
background-color: #afc6db;
}
.windowbg2
{
color: #000;
background-color: #f8f8f8;
}
Hope it helps ;)
:'( It is still not changed. ??? ::)
Have you done both of the changes I have wanted at the same time? Because I have tried and it seems to work.
It is still not changing :'(
Have you tried refreshing because the link you have snet me has black text now :)
I have tried it in Internet Explorer and Mozilla and the posts are still in white --> http://northquad.gov.ph/portal/index.php?option=com_smf&Itemid=27&topic=1.msg96#new
You had never mentioned you were using Mambo/Joomla, this is happening because the CSS files are conflicting, please read the guide about integrating SMF and Joomla templates.
Thanks will try to look at it and hope it helps. Sorry bout not mentioning that.
