I've taken over maintenance of a forum. I need to add back the top box that shows "HELLO USERNAME.... YOU HAVE X MESSAGES etc". That whole top part is gone.
I've found LOTS of posts on how to modify that section... but none on how make it disappear, or get it back!
I don't need step by step details... just a quick file name to look at would be great!!!
Thank you,
Hulaqueen
I'm not even sure what that area is called... I think I found it though.
My index.template.php is TINY compared to the default template... I think it's all been chopped out.
Cheers,
Hula
That text isn't in the default theme in 1.1RC2 - the number of new messages is displayed in brackets on the My Messages tab (if they have any new messages). However, it's quite easy to add that text back in. See http://www.simplemachines.org/community/index.php?topic=86397.msg572056#msg572056
