Otsikko: Speed issues
Kirjoitti: Elkaholic - toukokuu 20, 2006, 01:59:46 AP
I am now working on speed issues and have run into a wall using Gzip comp. I have disabled it in SMF and when I enable it in Mambo 4.5.3h I get this error. I am using SMF 1.1RC2

is their anything I can do to get rid of this error and keep the compression? It really speeds load time when I can use this.

No I do not have the discussbot installed and bridge 1.1.5, along with Mambo 4.5.3.h and SMF 1.1rc2, I have two setups and both will give the error when I enable Gzip compression. I have had to really clean up the modules that load and even then I can only get the pages to load in about 20.8 seconds, from 38.6 seconds after cleaning up the modules. With gzip it really had my site loading fast in comparison, but I can give no actual numbers because of the error.

Lainaabridge 1.1.5, along with Mambo 4.5.3.h and SMF 1.1rc2

I'm hoping that's a typo.  Bridge 1.1.5 is nowhere near release yet.....
