i like to make my own SMF site, can someone help me?
You'll need to host the forum somewhere. Someplaces are free, some are not. Are you willing to pay a monthly fee to have your site hosted? There's a whole section of the forums on here dedicated to that.
No matter who you choose, make sure that they offer php. In other words, don't get on a windows host.
Just read these forums. You'll learn bunches by reading.
how much is it to pay for a SMF site?
SMF prides itself as being free software. Everyone shares that pride as well. SMF is free. However, you will either pay some money for a paid host or you will use a free host. You're not paying for SMF. You're possibily and probably paying for hosting service.
SMF rules. It took me two months of messing up and reinstalling the software, and reading forum posts, and asking questions to get the site that I have today. I have a slow learning curve when it comes to PHP.
(I paid $7.95 per month for my hosting -- if this is what you're asking. I paid two years in advance, and got a discount, though. When my site starts making money, you can bet that I'll become a charter member.)
