SMF Version: SMF 1.1 RC2
I backed up my database and all files and moved to another server. I've had nothing but problems since. First no ones password worked, everyone had to request a new one. The members viewing a board is in the wrong place, they're under the message headings instead of up top where they were. I can't install any themes and I can't update any themes. Is this a problem with the database or the installation ? Can I correct these things or am I best just to start all over ?
Not sure what caused all your problems, especially the password issue. Are you sure everything got transferred properly?
Double-check that your Themes directory is chmodded to 777 and also ask your host to verify that you have access to the /tmp directory and that it's writable.
What specifically happens when you try to update or install a theme?

Nothing. I get the window asking me if I want to install now, I click ok, the screen refreshes and there is nothing.

I've been having so many problems since I moved servers that I just blew away everything, reinstalled and had everyone reregister. Now everyone including myself get a wrong password error everytime we try to log on the first time. What could cause that ?
