ok. I uninstalled 1.1.3 hoping 1.1.4 would fix my problems with polls and sessions. Everything went well. Now I can't get to the config menu to set the path. I also get no login module.
I've tried uninstalling, re-installing, clearing all caches.. I am stumped!
Joomla's default poll module will never work with the bridge. There is a variable collision between that module and SMF. It has never worked since Mambo 4.5.0, and will probably continue to not work in the future. No matter how much work I do in the bridge, this will never work. It cannot be fixed in the bridge.
When you uninstalled 1.1.3, did you uninstall ALL of it? Including the registration component, the login module, and the SMF_Header_include bot?
got it to work just fine now. Poll works too :)
