Greetings
A couple of members has complained on my forum that in IE6 the avatars sometimes are not shown (not always, just sometimes, lol). The problem/funny part is that on my computer the avatars just works fine, and also on most other computers I've tested (IE6 as well as Firefox). However I remember one computer at my Uni had problems with showing the avatars at one occasion.
When its not working there is a white box with a cross (=broken link to the avatar). One of the broken avatars directs to the following link:
.../index.php?option=com_smf&Itemid=90&action=dlattach;id=16;type=avatar
Which shows that the problem lays in the bridge. The members also said that when logged directly through the forum the avatars work fine, however its through the bridge that the problems occur.
It is SMF 1.0.7 integrated with Mambo 4.5.2 through the bridge.
Regarding the avatar settings, the box "check everytime for size" is unticked. Also I have uploaded the forum avatars to the following: .../avatar/Avatar while in settings the folder which is set as containing avatars is ".../avatar".
The uploaded avatars are in the default "attachments" folder.
What can be done?

how about

I'll bet you that the users who are getting missing image icons are hitting the site from an address that is not

There is only one redirect on the site: a permanent redirect from http://noorislam.net to http://www.noorislam.net/v2
there are no other redirects. Any ideas?
That's odd, because this presents me with an image as expected:

Same with me. The problem has only occured once for me, and that was at Uni on their computers. Othewise it is working fine from here, both in Firefox and IE6.
But its not just one member, at least 4 has complained regarding this issue. :(
