hi friends,

I wanted to change my Index page TITLE. How can i change it? i don't want to change from Admin Panel coz it will change from everywhere in subject see below....

Simple Machines Community Forum > SMF Development > Graphics and Templates 

only wanted to change Home Page Title for better Search Engine Results.

Aslo post ur suggestions if u have any....

Open up Index.template.php (the one in your theme folder, for most cases its Themes/default/Index.template.php) ans search for:

<title>', $context['page_title'], '</title>';

And replace the "', $context['page_title'], '" so it looks like something like this:

<title>Smf is great!</title>';

If you want to keep the dynamic page title functionality of SMF, you might try doing something like:

<title>', $context['page_title'], ' bullettin board, forum, free, professional, cool people</title>';
