I help one user to install bridge and I have same issuse and settings!
Settings on both site :
J! 1.0.8
VirtueMart 1.0.5 "without session close"
SMF 1.1 RC2 + fixes
Bridge 1.1.4
SMF
Enable local storage of cookies off
Use subdomain independent cookies on
Enable compressed output off
Use database driven sessions on
Allow browsers to go back to cached pages off
No erors at all in forum error log.

Cache off
Folowing issuse I get on both site same browser:
User1 log in write some new forum topic then log out.
User2 login or User1 try to login again then both users redirects to forum and "Incorrect password" write password again and user's is loged in.
Is it this issuse related to VirtueMart and it's this posible to fix this?
I tryed to set on Allow browsers to go back to cached pages but no difference.

The problem on your own site, and the problem on the other site are completely unrelated.
The problem on your site is most often caused by the double header information. I would suggest the Mambo Joomla tag cleanup mod, but it does not work on non-default themes.
The problem on the other site is indeed related to VM.
Comment out this in mod_smf_login.php:

I commented those lines out, but it's still happening. You get the incorrect password the first time you try and log in from the module, then if you return and try again it works. If you log out and log in again the error is there again.

I have the exact same problem and the same setup with Virtuemart etc. Have also commented out the lines that Orstio tells about but doen't make a difference
Starting a new browser and go to Joomla SMF login module and logging in, having the same smf_session_id and also have that after logging out. Now trying to login again but this time it fails and are redirected to SMF login page but now I have got a new smf_session_id in my header. Trying to login now works very well.
Could it be that SMF invalidate the session but Joomla/SMF brigde isn't updated with a new session id and then cause this error??

Since the bridge reads the session from SMF, this is impossible. The bridge does not store any information itself.
