Otsikko: Template chooser problem
Kirjoitti: smashingyoungman - toukokuu 30, 2006, 05:18:39 IP
I've created three distinct templates at my site, www.ageofantiquity.com. When using the template chooser with SEF enabled, all the Joomla pages change templates fine, and appropriately remembers your selection. However, all wrapped SMF pages remain stuck on one template, no matter what you choose.

Any idea what the problem might be? I also posted this over at the OpenSEF forum thinking the problem might lie with that component, but I've yet to receive any help, so I thought I might try my luck here.

Thankee. :)

be more specific...       do you expect the template chooser to also change the SMF theme?   If so... it doesn't...

There is only one SMF theme; I moved all CSS and image calls to the Joomla template folder. That way, no forum theme change is necessary...the problem is, it is remembering the wrong Joomla theme. Lol...I don't know if I'm making any sense. I'll go ahead and enable the template chooser on my site so you can take a looksie for yourself, if you'd be so kind.

I'm beginning to think this problem is completely unique to me...I've searched both here and at OpenSEF's forum and no one has reported a similar issue. Maybe no one has tried to use multiple templates that are a combined Joomla/SMF theme?

Nevermind...I just got it fixed. I substituted the form code in the default template chooser module with the code from a third party module, and everything works fine now.
