I have mambo 4.5.3h stable
SMF RC2 and the bridge I am not very sure, but I think it is 1,1,3
The bridge was warking very nice for months, but lately, although I have in the settings: Back to the page from which the user logged in, it always redirects to the forum.
Also I am having problems with users that cannot be logged into the portal. The password is not accepted.
Try upgrading to Joomla to see if that fixes it :P
It is not that simple ...I have a heavy site :'(
What do you mean?
Heavy as in lots of components or just lots of users?
both components and users :)

I wouldn't consider switching from Mambo 4.5.3h to Joomla an "upgrade", exactly. :-\

Do you have a URL?
Hi Orstio, :D
Now I have uninstalled the old bridge and installed the new one 1.4.4 and it is loading much slower and the background went all white, Login is working fine, but logout redirects to forum...
I suspect It can be something wrong when I removed the old pieces of cold on the template and put the new one.... I don´t know...
My url is the same as my signature :)
Thank you
The background is white because it is set to white in your SMF CSS.
It's loading very fast from here....not sure about why you are experiencing slowness.
The logout redirects to the forum because the forum is unwrapped, so the session variable is not set properly from the login module.
Thank you Orstio. Do you mean the mambo page is loading fast? The forum is fast as always, it is just the portal that got heavy... (I think)
I have logout set:
Back to the page from which the user logged out
And about the css, I was researching here on the forum but couldnt find how to fix this css backgoround thing.. Could you please tell me how? :D
Thanks
The logout redirects to the forum because it is unwrapped. It doesn't matter what your redirect setting is. The unwrapped forum breaks that setting.
For the white background, look in your SMF style.css.
Ok, now I don´t have to care anymore about the logout issue. At least login does it job fine!
I looked at it and I even changed in smf.css the background to the colour I want to have on the portal, but the forum was not looking very nice with it, so I changed back to white ::)
